Hey, remember
Mad-Libs? You know, those pads of stories wherein filling the empty blanks produced hilarious results back in junior high? Well, Marc Calvary and his sister have come up with this well-executed parody, only instead of little stories, each page is a kind of letter no one likes to write (suicide letters, "Sorry, Beer Goggles...", "You're Fired", etc.). You just fill in the blanks and pop that puppy in the mail! With letters that start out with lines like "This is to inform you that I found your pet _________ under my car tire" I can't help but think they're providing a real service here. Plus, it looks a whole lot like the real deal (graphics, color covers, etc.).
And if that's not enough for you, Marc also sent along a classy parody sticker of signs you see in restrooms ("Attention: If You Don't Wipe Your Ass There Is No Need to Wash Your Hands"; 75ยข or free with order) and several helpful pamphlets to guide you down the right path in this modern age:
A Dead Baby Is a Sad Thing ("A Gentle Guide to Getting Over the Loss of a Child"),
Grandpa's Got a Problem ("A Guide to Getting Grandpa Out of Your Pants") and
Are You Retarded or Just Ugly? ("A Guide to Finding Yourself and Fitting In"). Silly satire. I believe a buck'll get you all three.
