Like Jack, Jeffrey Brown remembers it all: not just the bitter death of the relationship, but also the heady joy when it was new. The story of how he lost his virginity ends sadly – does anybody else's have a happy ending? – but he doesn't slight the good times, which makes the end when it comes extra tragic.
This story, like
Clumsy, is illustrated in Jeffrey's one-pen one-take style, surprisingly effective and as intimate as a handwritten letter. Worth your fifteen bucks.
